  Explore advanced features of the DTL Editor in the Management Portal such as code actions, utility functions, lookup tables, and subtransformations; and learn how to build them into the logic of your data transformations.

  Prerequisite Learning or Experience This course assumes you have basic knowledge of creating data transformations.

  Audience  This course is for interface engineers and software developers who know how to create a basic data transformation and are familiar with ObjectScript.

  Duration  45 minutes.

  Learning Objectives  By the end of this course, you will be able to do the following within an existing data transformation:

  • Add a for each loop.
    
  • Create and use utility functions.
    
  • Create and use lookup tables.
    
  • Use counting.
    
  • Create and implement a subtransformation.
