  Using InterSystems IRIS® for Health or HealthShare® Health Connect, you can create a FHIR Facade to enable your healthcare applications to send and receive data in the HL7® FHIR® format. In this learning path, see how to:

  • Set up your application to interact with external an FHIR server, such as an EHR, using REST. 
  • Transform messages in standard healthcare data formats into the FHIR format.
  • Configure a FHIR Facade using the FHIR Interoperability Adapter.

  This path contains four sections. One, get oriented, 5 minutes. Two, Use REST to send and receive FHIR data, 2 hours. Three, Transform data into HL7 FHIR, 1 hour. Four, Create a FHIR Facade, 20 minutes.
