Payer Services Essentials for Technical Audiences

Learn how to implement and manage InterSystems Payer Services, which helps you meet two interoperability requirements: the Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule (CMS-9115-F) and CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization Final Rule (CMS-0057-F).

InterSystems Payer Services is a modular suite of containerized services built on InterSystems IRIS® for Health that allows you to easily ingest and process data from a wide range of payer data sources, including electronic health records (EHRs), claims systems, pharmacy and benefit applications. These sources feed into the Data Foundation, the core of Payer Services, where data is aggregated, normalized, and de-duplicated via an HL7® FHIR® Gateway. Data can then be securely exposed through FHIR APIs to support electronic prior authorization and data exchange use cases.

In this program, you will learn to add new data sources and expose Provider Access and Payer to Payer APIs. Note that you should also refer to your internal regulatory compliance office for any additional regulations or standard practices.
