  • DeepSee Analyzer Basics

    Welcome to DeepSee Analyzer Basics. This course contains four instructional lessons, plus several quiz questions and exercises. The videos and simulations in this course are best if viewed full screen.


    This course will walk you through the fundamentals of how and when to use the DeepSee Analyzer. It depicts typical use cases for the Analyzer and shows how to access the Analyzer from the Management Portal. You will learn how to use drag and drop to create simple queries, and then refine these queries by sorting, applying filters, and drilling down. This course also covers how to use detail listings to see the details of the source data lying behind your queries.

    Prerequisite Learning or Experience  None.


    Audience  This course is intended for anyone who wants an introduction to the DeepSee Analyzer.


    Learning Objectives  By the end of this course, you will be able to:

    • Select the appropriate cube for a query.
    • Create a simple query using drag and drop.
    • Refine a query by filtering, sorting, and drilling down.
    • Select and use a detail listing to see source data for the results of a query.
    • Save a query for later use.
    • View the MDX generated by the Analyzer.
